Diamond in the rough!

All those times I feel pathetic and useless,

Just because I got fooled by the devil again,

Fallen into one of his filthy traps.

All those times I was ashamed of myself,

And couldn’t meet the eyes of my Father,

Disgusted that I had failed once again.

All those times, If I only knew,

I wasn’t attacked cause I was weak but because I was valuable,

They didn’t come after me time and again cause I was easy,

But because they couldn’t risk letting me escape,

For my impact stretched beyond timelines.

When they spewed nothing but lies all day long,

Hoping that I would believe them to be true and succumb to my fears and fail.

All those times,

I was a Jar of clay with treasures from beyond this galaxy.

They knew, oh my enemies knew that so very well.

Well, now I do too! For the devil only attacks what is valuable.

With the Holy Spirit beside me, I have got nothing to worry about.

7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
