If only we knew…

Walking this tired path, Falling apart every 5 seconds, Will it be better if I only knew, That a horde of holy people were looking down on me from heaven?! Hoping that I’d stick with the struggle and carry my cross, Will it help me wake up one more day and walk into it with gusto!? If I only knew that the famous ones from the Hall of Faith were out there, wishing I would join them unscathed. Will it make a difference!? At all!? If I knew that My blessed Saviour was waiting right beside me!? Praying I’d pick up the pace. Oh My Soul, Will it!? Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
