I am His.

Call unto me,

And I will answer you, He says.

When trouble comes knocking,

I will rescue you, He says.

With relief and peace,

Filling my soul;

I wonder with a smile,

Why?!

Why would the one who controls galaxies,

Want to come to my rescue?!

Why would He want to swoop down,

To draw me out of deep waters.

I find no logic to that Love,

That’s tells me I am His,

I find it hard to accept,

His acceptance of my flaws.

Why?!, I ask Him,

Why do you Love me so?!

I don’t feel like I deserve it.

My Child, the world has distorted Love beyond recognition, He replies.

Love is called Love,

Only when it has no strings attached.

“Because he loves me,” says the Lord , “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
