I see you!

I see you, He says,

With your head bowed down

And the tears you refuse to shed,

I see them all and I don’t walk away.

I see you in your failings,

When you fall-apart every single day,

I see you fumbling to hold it all together,

And I don’t walk away.

I see you holding onto pain,

Pain that you can’t let go,

I see you clench your fist in anger,

I see you yelling at the world and I don’t walk away.

I see you rocking back and forth,

Mumbling under your breath,

The mistakes that you made and all that you should have done,

I see you Child, and I don’t walk away.

Would you look up and give me a glance?
