In Quietness and Rest

It’s not in the chaos that we find or are reminded of God,

It’s in the calm and the quiet,

With the waves rushing towards you and the sands shifting beneath your feet,

With the sun shining down on you and clouds giving you total cover,

With the occasional sounds of the chirping birds and the sound of the trees swaying in the wind,

And that Sigh that slips unnoticed.

That’s when our heart is reminded of God and all his heart.

Our hearts were not made for chaos, they were made for happiness and peace.

Return to you Joy.

Don't stay in the chaos.
