Is this!?

Is this the consequence of our evil, of centuries past?

Or our negligent and lethargic stewardship of planet earth?

Is this justice being served, for all the injustice that we tolerated?

Is this the tearing down of an economy that parades the good-looking?

Is this nature taking back what it deserved?

Is this the rest of life on earth letting humans know how toxic we are?

Is this the cry of the oppressed finally breaking down heaven’s gate?

Is this God laughing down on the foolish rich man who stored up a barn full of barley and believed he was safe?

Is this a wake up call to invest more in those that really matter?

Is this families being forced to have a meal together?

Is this a show of equality regardless of wealth or status?!

Or is this because –

God looked for one to stand in the doorway and plead for the sake of the land, and He found no one, not even one.?!

Oh, that we would have righteous hands lifted up to heaven that God cannot refuse!!

I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.
